The iced hibiscus herbal tea
Share
When it's hot out, forget the boiling water. Instead, let our Antioxidant Infusion — made with hibiscus — steep cold overnight. In the morning, a ruby-red carafe is waiting for you: smoother and less acidic than a hot infusion, ready to spend the day in the fridge.
What you'll need
- 2 tablespoons of Antioxidant Infusion
- 1 litre of cold water
- A few slices of lemon or lime
- Ice cubes, and some mint if you feel like it
The method
- Place the herbal infusion and cold water in a carafe.
- Cover and leave in the fridge for 6 to 8 hours (or overnight).
- Strain, then add the lemon and ice cubes.
- Serve well chilled, garnished with mint.
Cold steeping extracts everything gently: less bitterness, a deep colour, the hibiscus antioxidants preserved. A drink to sip from morning to night, caffeine-free.
